Cold urticaria

Cold urticaria is a type of hives that occurs when skin is exposed to cold!

The symptoms are the appearance of red, swollen and itchy patches after exposure to cold temperatures. The patches will usually disappear within a few minutes or hours.

As soon as this exposure to cold returns, the plates will reappear. To avoid outbreaks as much as possible, don’t let your skin come into contact with cold temperatures!
